Kenneth R. Barraza, MD, is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Barraza performs all types of plastic and reconstructive procedures and has a specific interest in cosmetic procedures, particularly surgeries of the breast and nose.
A Graduate of the University of Mississippi, Dr. Barraza received his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine. Following an internship and residency in general surgery at the University of South Alabama, he completed his plastic surgery residency in 1991 at The University of Mississippi Medical School in Jackson.
An Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society honoree, he is also a member of several of the medical profession’s most respected and prestigious organizations, including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, American Medical Association, Southern Medical Association, and Mississippi State Medical Association. He is a candidate-member of the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Barraza has and continues to author and co-author articles for medical journals, in addition to delivering presentations at national and regional surgical conferences. A recent article he co-authored, “Reduction Mammoplasty by Inferior Pedicle Technique,” was published in the Annals of Plastic Surgery.

Dr. Barraza and his wife, Jana, have two children.
