Aubrey Lucas, MD, is an Orthopedic Surgeon, certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. He specializes in surgery of the hand and upper extremity and has a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Surgery of the Hand.
A magna cum laude graduate of the University of Mississippi, Dr. Lucas received his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine. Following his Orthopedic Residency in Greenville, SC, Dr. Lucas held a Hand Fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Dr. Lucas has been awarded numerous professional memberships in well-respected medical associations and societies, such as The American Medical Association; The Mississippi State Medical Association; The American Orthopedic Society; and The Mississippi Orthopedic Society.
Dr. Lucas’s hospital affiliations include The Plastic Surgical Center of Mississippi; St. Dominic-Jackson Memorial Hospital; River Oaks Hospital; and Women’s Hospital at River Oaks.
Dr. Lucas is a Greenwood native and a fourth generation physician. His family has served Mississippi in the fields of obstetrics, general surgery, family practice, dermatology, and vascular surgery. Dr. Lucas and his wife Toni have two children, Anne Fair and Charlotte.
