Stephen F. Davidson, MD
Stephen F. Davidson, MD, is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He has performed all types of plastic and reconstructive surgery and has a special interest in reconstructive breast surgery.
A magna cum laude graduate of Murray State University in Murray, KY, Dr. Davidson received his doctorate of Medicine from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, TX. He completed his surgical internship, surgical residency, plastic surgery residency, and plastic surgery research fellowship at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. He has been a partner in other plastic surgery practices in Texas and Mississippi.
LEAD stands for Leadership, Experience, and Development in Breast Augmentation. The LEAD Council is composed of board certified plastic surgeons who meet on an annual basis to share their wealth of experience and knowledge with Mentor Worldwide LLC. The objective of this meeting is to better understand the needs of you, the consumer, so that Mentor may further enhance its product and educational programs. Dr. Davidson has received awards for presentations and exhibits from such prestigious organizations as the Mississippi State Medical Association, American Association for Hand Surgery, American Federation of Clinic Research, and Southeastern Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons. His areas of research have included silicone immunology, microsurgery, and the effects of ultraviolet light. He has authored more than 50 abstracts and articles in peer review journals.
Dr. Davidson has been a member of several of the profession’s most respected and prestigious medical organizations, including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, Southern Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, and the American Medical Association.
Dr. Davidson’s hospital affiliations include Mississippi Baptist Medical Center, River Oaks Hospital, Woman’s Hospital at River Oaks, HealthSouth Mississippi Surgical Center, HealthSouth Surgicare of Jackson, St. Dominic-Jackson Memorial Hospital, Rankin Medical Center, and Kings Daughter’s Hospital in Brookhaven.
Dr. Davidson and his wife, Clay Lambert Davidson, have two children, John Clayton and Mary Parker. They are members of Christ United Methodist Church.
