Combining Surgery with Pre & Post Operative Skincare Treatment & Education

Before surgery we recommend that you visit The Face and Body Medical Spa to begin the process.  In your consultation, one of our certified aesthetician's will take you though a list of products that will prepare your skin for your surgery.  Some of these products include Retin-A (retinoic acid-reduces the possibility of postoperative hyperpigmentation), TNS SkinMedica (Tissue Nutrient Solution Recovery Complex), Obaji clear (which includes 4% medical grade hydroguinone acid), and Obagi Tretinoin (a peeling cream which stimulates collagen).  They also recommend that each patient moisturize their skin with topical vitamin C & undergo a chemical peel to prepare your skin for the procedure.

After your surgeon has cleared you for your spa visit to undergo your post-operative regimen, our aesthetician's will evaluate your skin and customize the treatment to your particular skincare needs.
